OUR MISSION

At City Lights Foundation of Oklahoma, our mission is simple: to love people well, offer hope, and bring dignity through meaningful relationships and safe housing.

Call to Action Graphic

MOVING PEOPLE INTO A LIFESTYLE OF SERVICE AND COMMUNITY.

Our story began in September 2013 with Night Light Tulsa, a weekly outreach created to meet our neighbors experiencing homelessness with compassion, conversation, and care. What started with just a few hearts stepping forward quickly grew into a movement, revealing the overwhelming need in our community. By December 2015, we became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially launching City Lights Foundation of Oklahoma.

From the beginning, our calling has been clear: to walk alongside those who are too often overlooked and forgotten. By stepping out of our comfort zones — learning someone’s name, listening to their story, and honoring their humanity — we discover the connections that bind us all. These relationships don’t just change lives; they rebuild community.

Today, that calling continues through our three core programs: Night Light Tulsa, where weekly street outreach offers meals, conversation, and connection; Mobile Outreach, which brings life-saving care, resources, and emergency shelter to neighbors in crisis; and City Lights Village, a housing community designed to restore dignity, stability, and hope through safe, long-term homes.

At City Lights, we believe love looks like action. Whether it’s creating dignified housing, offering a meal, or opening spaces where families and children can serve together, every effort is an invitation to bring light into the darkness.

What was once a nameless face becomes a friend. What was once despair is met with hope. And what once felt forgotten becomes restored through the power of relationship.

We invite you to join us — as a donor, volunteer, or partner — in building relationships that transform lives and bring lasting restoration to Tulsa. Together, we can be the lights our community needs.
